The awards ceremony and dinner will take place on Saturday, Nov. 14 at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
The Journalists Association of New York, formerly the New York State Associated Press Association, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting journalists across New York through professional development, advocacy, recognition, and community.
Each year, JANY recognizes outstanding journalism through its statewide awards program, honoring excellence in reporting, photography, digital storytelling, broadcasting, and student journalism.
In 2025, JANY revived its annual awards dinner and launched its annual journalism conference, bringing together professional journalists and students for a full day of learning, networking, and celebrating New York journalism.
